Killed in Action Friday 30th July 1915 near Ypres, Belgium, age 19.
Remembered on the Menin Gate Memorial, Belgium.

Arthur was born in 1896 to Charles and Amelia Harriet Oldham of Higher Broughton, Manchester. The Tech Book of Remembrance records that he was a Rifleman with the 7th Battalion King’s Rifles and had been associated with the Printing Department. He was 19 years old when he enlisted on 29th March 1915. He arrived in France on 21st July 1915 and died a few days later in Belgium.
